Double-Diffusive of a Nanofluid in a Rectangle-Shape Mounted on a Cavity Saturated by Heterogeneous Porous Media

This study presents numerical simulations on double-diffusive flow of a nanofluid in two cavities connected with four vertical gates. Novel shape an outer square mounted cavity by gates was used. Heterogeneous porous media and Al 2 O 3 -water are filled inner cavity. Outer rectangle is only, its left walls carry high temperature id="M2"> T h concentration id="M3"> C . The right low id="M4"> c id="M5"> the other adiabatic. An incompressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (ISPH) method applied for solving governing equations velocities, temperature, concentration. Results introduced effects buoyancy ratio id="M6"> − ≤ N , Darcy parameter id="M7"> 10 Da 5 solid volume fraction id="M8"> 0 ϕ 0.05 levels. Main results indicated which adjusts directions convection Adding more nanoparticles reduces speed maximum velocity field. Due to presence medium layer cavity, has slight changes inside shape.
